#MAFIA 3 PS3 FRAMERATE UPDATE#
We are currently working on an update for PC that will give players the option to play Mafia III at higher framerates. The team has been hard at work ensuring that Mafia III’s performance is consistent across all platforms, and right now the game runs at a solid 30 frames-per-second. We know how important having options that best suit your PC’s performance capabilities are. Official Statement from 2k games, thanks to /u/JosephB2K! I have no idea why this is an issue, so waiting for their statement. They claim improvements "soon" and statement.Ħ0fps+ will be coming "soon". I have had confirmation from 2K that the current builds of Mafia 3 are locked to 30fps on PC. This thread will be updated with new information as soon as it is available. Please use this Thread to discuss this issue instead of creating dozens of new ones asking the same question over and over again. The FPS cap is most likely not intentional, considering that footage of Mafia 3 running on PC at 60FPS exists and seeing that there is a option for Vsync in the game's graphics settings. There have been numerous reports that Mafia 3's PC port is capped at 30FPS, although this information remains to be unconfirmed by the developers. I will buy it on ps4 pro and hopefully some of these issues are fixed quickly. Everything is mentioned in this review that was mentioned in that 5/10 review. Missions verity isnt there and gets very repetitive. Final Edit for now: The patch will go live on Steam later tonight and will give the options to limit the FPS to 30, 60 or remove the limit altogether: I bet you bigger sites wont be handing out 8/10.
